In celebration of the Singapore Teachers’ Union’s 80th Anniversary, we warmly invite you to take part in our STU 80th Anniversary Virtual Run 2026 – a meaningful way to commemorate eight decades of Protecting and Promoting Teachers and Teaching, while staying active and connected. Whether you prefer to run solo or rally your colleagues and friends, this virtual run is designed to be inclusive, flexible, and fun for all.

🏃‍♀️ STU 80th Anniversary Virtual Run – Key Details

Race Period: 📅 14 March 2026 – 28 June 2026

Race Categories: Participants may complete your distance at your own pace, anytime during the race period.

1. 80km Individual (Accumulative)
2. 80km Group (Accumulative) – 2 to 8 pax

🎁 Race Pack

Each participant will receive a race pack that includes attractive items such as our STU Runner’s Cap, STU Bag, Protein bar, and Isotonic drink. In addition, a Finisher T-shirt and a Finisher Magnet will be given to participants who complete the 80km run.

🏆 Prizes

Stand a chance to win attractive prizes upon completion:  

• 80km Individual: Top 5 participants to complete the run within the shortest period – from first run to completion of the 80km (submission of the run activity) – $80 FairPrice voucher per participant
• 80km Group: Top 3 groups to complete the run within the shortest period – from first run to completion of the 80km (submission of the run activity) – $20 FairPrice voucher per group member

📌 To be eligible for prizes, participants must post their run on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #STURun2026 and #STU80 and tag @singaporeteachersunion. Only one (1) participant is required to submit on behalf of the group.

⌚ How to Track and Submit Your Run

To ensure fairness and accurate recording of results:

• All runs should be tracked using the Strava app.
• Please ensure your run activity clearly shows the date of run, distance, and timing.
• Upon successful registration and payment, participants will receive a confirmation email containing a dedicated submission link.
• All participants are required to submit screenshots of their Strava run records via a link for verification by STU.

📌 Only runs completed within the official race period and submitted through the dedicated link will be considered. Submissions after the deadline will not be taken into consideration.

⏰ Submission Deadline

• Registration: Submit via the designated Microsoft Forms link by 15 June 2026.
• Run Completion & Submission: must be submitted by 28 June 2026.

Participants will be notified by email on the details of the physical collection of their race pack.
