STU Celebrates May Day with Fernvale Primary School, Honouring Our Educators
On 7 May 2025, as part of our May Day celebrations, the Singapore Teachers’ Union (STU) visited Fernvale Primary School to personally honour and appreciate our dedicated educators for their steadfast commitment to nurturing and shaping young minds.
May Day holds special significance for workers across all sectors, and for STU, it is a meaningful opportunity to recognise the invaluable contributions of teachers who go above and beyond every day in their classrooms and schools. During the visit, STU representatives engaged with the school’s teachers, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their tireless efforts in educating, inspiring, and guiding the next generation.
The visit was not just about celebration, but a reaffirmation of STU’s deep appreciation for the professionalism, passion, and resilience of educators. In an ever-evolving educational landscape, teachers continue to rise to the challenge. They are adapting to new teaching methodologies, supporting the diverse needs of their students, and cultivating a love for learning.
By taking the time to connect with teachers on the ground, STU stands alongside them, recognising their daily sacrifices, their unwavering dedication to their students, and their significant role in building the future of our nation.
