STU partnered with NTUC Singapore, My Family Kaki, and NTUC Women and Family at Singapore’s OLive Family Symposium, held at the Academy of Singapore Teachers on 31 May 2025.
At our booth, we presented thoughtfully curated activities specially designed to strengthen family bonds and support educators in their meaningful, yet often challenging, dual roles as parents and caregivers.
Some highlights included:
- 🕰️ Work-Life Harmony Tips: Practical strategies and quick guides were shared to help educators manage their time, set boundaries, and prioritise self-care while balancing professional and family responsibilities.
- 🤝 Resource Sharing: We connected educators with support networks and community resources that offer programmes that focuses on well-being initiatives.
The response was truly heartening. Many educators shared their personal stories of striving to be fully present both in the classroom and at home, and it reinforced our belief that when we support our teachers as whole persons, not just as professionals. We empower them to thrive.
The teachers’ dedication to both their families and their profession continues to inspire us deeply. Together, we can build a community where no educator has to choose between work and family, because both matter.
