The STU was privileged to visit the Australian Education Union (AEU) in Melbourne from 12 Jun to 16 Jun 2023. In addition to our official visits to the AEU offices, we also visited the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, the Spensley Street Primary School and the Collingwood College (Warun Senior Campus). We have been greatly enriched by our learning in Melbourne. We were energised by the exchange of views and sharing of lived experiences that defined our work as teacher unionists. We thank the Australian Education Union for a memorable journey and look forward to hosting them in the future.
