Singapore Teachers' Union's 6th National Delegates' Conference
More than 80 delegates and observers gathered at One Marina Boulevard (NTUC Singapore) for the Singapore Teachers’ Union’s 6th National Delegates’ Conference.
In his opening address, President Mr Mohamed Salleh encouraged all present to reflect on our achievements, address our challenges, and reaffirm our shared commitment to one another and to our calling as educators. Together, as one, we will continue to protect and promote teachers and teaching — for ourselves, for our students, and for the future of Singapore. 🇸🇬
Delegates voted unanimously in favour (100%) of the Constitution Amendments. The General Secretary, Mike Thiruman, presented the Central Council Report, reviewing the work and achievements of STU from late 2023 to September 2025 in our core areas of industrial relations, teacher wellness, career coaching and membership. He also highlighted STU’s commitment to the Teacher Work Attachment Plus (TWA+) by the Ministry of Education, Singapore.
We also welcomed the new Central Council (2025–2029), who will carry forward STU’s mission with dedication and purpose.
A heartfelt thank you to all delegates and observers for your active participation and continued support. 💪👩🏫👨🏫
